About

👋 Hi! I’m Aalisha, a high school senior, FAA-certified drone pilot, and student pilot currently training for my Private Pilot License (PPL) at Princeton Flying School in New Jersey.

Ever since I took the controls of a Cessna 172 for the first time, I knew the sky wasn’t the limit—it was just the beginning. Aviation has taught me more than just how to fly. It’s shaped how I think, how I lead, and how I dream.

At 16, I earned my FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, and I’ve logged over 20+ hours toward my PPL under a Part 61 training program. Along the way, I’ve gained experience in flight planning, weather interpretation, VFR navigation, and radio communication with ATC—all while balancing school, STEM clubs, and mentoring younger students in aviation and coding.

🛫 Through this blog, I share what I’m learning as I grow—from flight school and FAA exams to drone ops, weather decoding, and even aerospace careers. Whether you're just curious or ready to pursue your own pilot journey, I’m here to guide, inspire, and fly with you.

📌 Highlights:

  • 🛩️ Student Pilot | PPL in Progress

  • 🎮 FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Operator

  • 🎓 STEM Enthusiast | Aviation Blogger | Mentor

  • 💻 Civil Air Patrol Cadet | Python & Java Mentor

  • 🚀 Future Aviator & Aerospace Engineer
